Statement of Faith
Whole Life Center Church of Freedom teaches, celebrates, and worships Freedom. Freedom is the main tenant of Freedomism because, while it may not be the sole meaning of life, it gives meaning to life and can improve it. You may live without Freedom, but you may not want to. Humanity needs to do better and be better. As such, each human should work to improve themselves so that we may improve our surroundings and societies as a whole. Yet, a slave does not have the autonomy to improve anything. Whole Life Center Church seeks to enhance Freedom in all of its’ many forms to the human race.
Freedom means different things to different people because it has a lot of meanings. An artist’s brushstroke is a freedom of expression while a person struggling with depression is fighting for their freedom to pursue happiness. Both are valid. We encourage more than just free thought, but Freedom in every aspect of life.
All change begins from within. Inventions cannot be built without first being born in the mind of their creator. Yet, a multitude of freedoms are required to create. A person must first overcome their fears to pursue goals. Time autonomy and freedom of expression are needed to create anything. A caged bird cannot fly. One cannot help others if they cannot help themselves.

Freedom is not a new concept and as a basis of belief is compatible with a multitude of other religions and their deities. In Christianity, ‘Redemption' is the process where human beings are freed from sin and its consequences. The Islamic concept of Freedom applies to all voluntary activities of man in all walks of life. Moses, a prominent figure in multiple religions, fought for literal Freedom for his people from slavery. Buddhists view reincarnation as a trap and seek Freedom from that cycle by reaching ‘Nirvana’. All are valid. Worship of any belief requires both Freedom of thought and Freedom to act. This faith is not restricted to any geographical area. Since the United States is known as 'the land of the free', you are free to think of this as an 'American Religion' if you wish. Freedom may be worshipped alongside any other deity of your choosing. If idolitry comforts you, or you wish to have a name to pray to, 'American Maria' would be appropriate and personified by the statue of liberty.
While freedom has been an anthem used by political despot’s and martyr’s alike for both just and unjust movements and revolutions - this document and faith is not a rallying cry for violence or to deny the Freedom of others in any way. Freedom is a highly individual concept and we hope to inspire reflection and, yes action at times, on a more individual level than large scale geo political activities.
